Cathy Kingham: Locality Co-ordinator

“My role is to ensure that the project is running smoothly and that Young Carers are receiving the best possible support from the Carewise team and from other agencies.  Amongst other things, this involves managing the team, fundraising, budgets, presenting Young Carers issues at meetings and ensuring that Young Carers needs are integral to strategic plans which incorporate children and young people. “

Marion Welch: Family Support Worker

“I am based at the Carewise office.  My role is to raise awareness of the needs and issues affecting Young Carers amongst health, education and social service professionals. I also make home visits, following a referral to the Project, to complete a full assessment of the Young Carer’s needs.”

Jim Harvey: Project Worker

“I am based at the Carewise office and organise our trips, drop-in sessions and other respite breaks. I am available to offer advice and support to any Young Carer.”

Jayne Bulmer:  Assistant Project Worker and Project Administrator

“I assist the project worker at drop ins and on trips; I also produce the newsletter and do the administration for the project.”
